Hi MichaelThank you for the information.  I will try to figure out how to do the mesh assignment on the duplicated geometry.Appreciate the help.Regards Mikail M. A. AnsariMsc, BSc (Electrical Engineering)

When I was meshing this the first time, Gmsh complained about the mesh algorithm I used by default (I think it was 2D: Automatic and 3D: Delaunay) because of the mixture of structured and unstructured mesh. Gmsh suggested to use the Frontal algorithm here, which worked fine finally. If you want to have the same structured mesh in your duplicated geometry I think you have to specify it separately because the transfinite information is obviously not copied by Duplicata.    Best regards Michael          From: Mikail Ansari [mailto:ansarimikail at yahoo.com]

Subject: Re: [Getdp] Issue with Example: Magnetometer    Hi Michael I agree with your point on the mesh.  I am not sure how to duplicate the characteristic length as well when duplicating the geometry.  Do I have to specify it separately?    On my default setup, the second beam/geometry doesn't even solve.  I am not sure, if I should add an additional post-processing components to the default.    Screenshots attached. Both geometries are solved but the mesh for the duplicated geometry is not structured and quite coarse. I suppose the different results are due to the different mesh. Subject: [Getdp] Issue with Example: Magnetometer   Hi I was trying to duplicate the Magnetometer example from the Onelab/GetDP website.   I duplicated the geometry.  I also assigned the physical geometry names. When solving: only the magnetometer example 1 shows any results. i.e. the duplicated geometry is not solved.   I have attached the files.  Could you advise me? Regards   Mikail M. A.
