[Gmsh-announce] New Gmsh release: 1.48

We have just released Gmsh 1.48! This version fixes a series of small
bugs (see below), provides a new plugin to draw fields on deformed
meshes (DisplacementRaise), as well as much improved levelset-based and
skin plugins (CutMap, CutPlane, CutSphere and Skin). The levelset
plugins now handle arbitrary views (and not only simplectic 3D scalar
views) and permit to draw the values extracted from other views/time
steps on the zero levelset.

New in 1.48: new DisplacementRaise plugin to plot arbitrary fields on

plugins to handle all kinds of elements and fields; new "Save View[n]"
command to save views from a script; many small bug fixes (configure
tests for libpng, handling of erroneous options, multi time step
scalar prism drawings, copy of surface mesh attributes, etc.);
