Gmsh 1.55.1 fixes a couple of small lighting bugs present in 1.55.0 and makes drawing arbitrary scalar fields on deformed meshes much easier (just set "Vector display" to "Raised scalar view" on a displacement map). As usual, you can download the new version from http://geuz.org/gmsh/.
