Thanks I should have spotted that the browser had unpacked
it! Silly me.

I look forward to trying the new version. I'm currently
working on an open source project for image reconstruction
in tomography

http://www.ma.umist.ac.uk/bl/eidors

Currently some members of the group are using QMG, but I
find the mesh quality to be poor and the user interface is
dreadful!

I used the windows NT version of gmsh on a colleagues
machine and it produced some nice meshes. However, I only
use Linux on my own machine out of preference.

The reason I asked about source was the need in electrical
tomography to produce meshes that are optimized to
extraction of conductance, or capacitance matrices which
involves using multiple boundary conditions. Conventional
mesh refinement algorithms minimize the energy give one set
of the boundary conditions, but the same strategy will not
work for multiple electrode systems.

Thanks
