Hi Christophe,

well, now i'm back at my original problem using gmsh. I'm trying to use
gmsh as an automatic mesh generator, since the mesh needs to be changing
. Generally this works, but at certain configurations (fx79tu.geo) i
still get the described error:
Warning : Volume has changed (0.832984->0.345215)
Warning : Volume has changed (0.680858->0.346659)
Warning : Volume has changed (0.173655->0.0638256)
Warning : Volume has changed (0.832984->0.345215)
Warning : Volume has changed (0.680858->0.346659)
Warning : Volume has changed (0.173655->0.0638256)
Warning : Volume has changed (0.0538652->0.0202929)
Warning : Volume has changed (0.0357815->0.0157767)
Warning : Volume has changed (2.4533->1.03161)

Warning : Volume has changed (0.0319762->0.00994697)
Warning : Volume has changed (0.0287389->0.0121019)
Warning : Volume has changed (0.0319762->0.00994697)
going on in a loop forever.
I started gmsh with gmsh $name"tu.geo" -2.
So i tried to use the gmsh $name"tu.geo" -2 -algo tri
version, but somehow the mesh isn't genereated at all (see fx79tu.gif),
although the message looks like it is being generated (see message.txt).
I'm using gmsh 1.60.1 on a SuSe Linux 9.2 .
So what now? Mostly in such cases i changed the geometry. But in cases
of an automatic generation, this doesn't help anymore.
