[Gmsh] please, i want know better gmsh

 Hi, 
 
 my name is Cristiano and I live in Brasil. I'm a civil enginner.
 
 I'm a new user. Well I want know:
 
 - does gmesh process the finite element stifiness matrix?
 - what and how to do to gmesh to do the structure analysis?
 - if gmsh isn't possible process the structure, what software may I use to work togueter with gmsh?
