Dear GMSH Developer,

Would you kindly tell if I can use GMSH to plot (in 3D) a surface of the form z=f(x,y) where the points (x,y) are the centers of the triangles of a mesh generated using GMSH?
In fact, I am solving hyperbolic systems on unstructured grids; the numerical solution is obtained at the cell-centers (triangles in 2d), and I need to visualize the results which consist of discrete functions
of the form z=f(x,y)

I thank you in advance for your answer.
