hello

i had like to add a mesh definition (from a .msh file) to another file of the same type,
adding, that means:
giving new ID numbers to the new entities (for example the node 1 in the second file should not replace the node 1 of the first file but becomes node 1+n where n is the largest node number in file 1, same for elements, physical ....)
is that possible?
i have tried "merge" but that replaces the node numbers as explained above

is it possible in a .geo file?

i know that may create double entities, i would then eliminate them if necessary some way or another

thanks in advance

jean pierre
