[Gmsh] meshing sphere surface

Dear all,
I'd like to mesh some contour lines on the earth surface (considered as a 
sphere), as in the ocean exemple.
The reference manual advises to use the plugin GSHHS to create the gmsh 
file .geo from a GSHHS file ou a "loops2" format file.
Would you have a example of such files (GSHHS ou "loops2") ? The reference 
manual gives a link towards an example of GSHHS data but it's not active.
