[Gmsh] trouble with 20111010 build

hello

i just downloaded this 20111010 version

i noticed that the Message Console now appears in the main window, at
the bottom of it
is there any way to modify the setuo so as to reverse to a message
console in a different window?
when debugging a scripted .geo i think it is nicer to have a different
window as the Message window will sometimes contains very many lines
eating all the space on the graphic window which is however useful as
well!

there is also a blank line space below the bottom icon bar
why is is like that?
should there be someting in here?
