[Gmsh] stretching triangular elements

Hello,

I would like to generate an unstructured triangular mesh, in which the 
elements in the middle look as if they have been stretched from left to 
right (see the attached image). Could some one please tell me how I 
could do that in gmsh?

I read somewhere that I could probably use 'mathevalaniso', but not 
exactly sure whether this would be the right field to look into.

Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.
