[Gmsh] Definition of integer number

Hello,

I'm using GMSH to create an hexahedral structured mesh, and then export it
into a .MESH format. At some point, when the number of nodes an elements is
large enough, the solver fails.

To discard a mesh problem, which occurs only with big meshes, I would like
to know what's is the integer definition in GMSH for exporting in the .MESH
format? 4 bit integer, 8 bit?

Also, the coordinates of the nodes are in which precision?
