[Gmsh] stl meshing

Hi all

I tried  to mesh the attached stl file using the attached  geo input file

I receive tons of errors telling “info  Region 3 Face 1, -1220000 intersect”

And no mesh is generated

The stl file looks good, no obvious intersections are visible

Reading the .geo file no duplicated vertices are found

Where can be the problem?
