[Gmsh] gmsh / jpg / Error : Unknown output file format

hello everybody,
i've compiled gmsh for linux, and on one machine i get this message when i try to print the screenshot from command line:
Info    : Started on Fri Mar  2 15:44:08 2018
Info    : Reading 'pressure.pos'...
Info    : Done reading 'pressure.pos'
Info    : Reading 'screenshot'...
Info    : Writing 'file.jpg'...
Error   : Unknown output file format
Info    : Done writing 'file.jpg'
i do not know what i should do to avoid this. i use simple screenshot script like this:
Print "file.jpg";
Exit;
