I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate student at the University of Florida. I am volunteering as a Research Assistant at the Center for Compressible Multiphase Turbulence at UF. I am using Gmsh for pre-processing. I am working on a simple cube with a hole

 inside. I wrote the geometry details, physical surface, circle, physical volume etc details in the .geo file according to the manual. Then, I used the GUI to create a 3-D mesh and saved it as a .msh file. Then, I used my code to convert it to Rocflu Hybrid

 ASCII format. I used that .hyb.asc file and along with a boundary condition file and input file, I ran the Rocflu code. The problem is, I am getting an error which points to an interior invalid grid. Now, I feel that the error is associated with the labeling

 of the physical surface/volume/circle etc or the order of those in the .geo file.

I looked through the manual and couldn't find any specific numbering details for the same. Could you kindly tell me if the labeling of the physical surfaces and ruled surfaces should start from 0 or should it continue with the number which follows the plane

 surface/ruled surface labeling? Or if there is any other information you would like to share regarding the .geo file, that would be great.
