<div dir='auto'>Respected,<div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">I am using gmsh to generate 2d mesh for large number of similar geometries(2D).</div><div dir="auto">My command looks like..</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">gmsh -2 input.geo -o output.inp</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">When i import the generated inp file to fluent it shows error that the given mesh is 3d instead of 2d. </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">However using gui when i export as inp while enabling both options save all and save physical groups, the mesh can be imported successfully with all physical groups visible in boundary zones of fluent.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto"> In command line -save_all(as per documentation) is not defined and gives error. After some trial and error I can do same with option -saveall( note: removed underscore) <br></div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Now problem is i can import mesh in fluent successfully but physical groups are no longer available in mesh as well as fluent. And there is no command line option to save physical groups. Please help with the command line options to preserve groups definition.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Thank you!</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Markand Pathak</div></div>
