Yes, in the $Entities section (see <a href="http://gmsh.info/doc/texinfo/gmsh.html#File-formats" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">http://gmsh.info/doc/texinfo/gmsh.html#File-formats</a>): each elementary entity can be associated to a number of physical groups.<br>
