<p>Hi,</p>
<p>I'm trying to generate a mesh with second order elements. <br>
</p>
<p>I managed to create this mesh</p>
<p><img src="cid:part1.C1861D38.513621CD@studenti.unibg.it" alt=""
width="674" height="382"></p>
<p><br>
</p>
<p><img src="cid:part2.B861A2B7.9F493376@studenti.unibg.it" alt=""
width="684" height="371"></p>
<p>generating the external surface and then extruding the mesh
inside.</p>
<p>This is ok using 1st order element. Using 2 order element the
following warnig appears:</p>
<p><img src="cid:part3.626218A6.39B93124@studenti.unibg.it" alt=""></p>
<p>I looked at the mesh and I noticed this</p>
<p><img src="cid:part4.109483E3.FACAFDA9@studenti.unibg.it" alt=""></p>
<p>instead of <br>
</p>
<p><img src="cid:part5.853B71DE.0B438893@studenti.unibg.it" alt=""></p>
<p>as using the 1st order. <br>
</p>
<p>That element are prisms. Is there a problem with this kind of
element?</p>
<p>I'm using Gmsh version 4.4.0<br>
