Hi Michal - I've successfully and quite extensively used getdp on amd64
(running Suse) last month: I didn't encounter any problems to configure
it. Are you sure g77 is correctly installed?

(You might also want to try with the latest cvs snapshot, available at:
http://geuz.org/getdp/src/getdp-nightly-source.tgz)
