[Getdp] Is ElementVol[] deprecated?

I ran across a reference to this function, ElementVol[], in a search of the
archives. I ran a test this morning, and it appears to work--despite that I
do not find it in the current manual.

This seems to be a convenient function for my application, but I wonder if
it is risky to depend upon it. Why is it not in the manual? Is it on its way
to being phased out?
