applying a current density is a Neumann boundary condition which appears in the Formulation block in the variational formulations.
I've modified your file accordingly. More details you'll find in the comments.

Attached is a simplified model of a thick film resistor using a 2d mesh.  Instead of applying the boundary conditions as voltage at the two terminals (as shown in the attached files), is it possible to use mixed boundary conditions, like voltage at the negative terminal, and either current, or current density at the positive terminal?
