The characteristic length defined in your file would lead to
approximately 500 million (!) triangles, which might be a bit too much
for your PC... Try e.g. 'gmsh mg.geo -clscale 100'.

PS: the top and bottom surfaces don't seem to be correctly defined (at
least if you want a true finite element mesh).
