We are developing a component base framework called ORCAN, and have now (among
others) components based on OpenCASCADE and Gmsh you can use to generate
grids from CAD.

You can find it at http://servww6.ww.uni-erlangen.de/cgl/orcan/download.html
You will need (except OpenCASCADE, and Gmsh, of course) wxWidgets and Vtk.

Its just the very first version, not really intented for general use, yet.
Documentation (except the one you can generate using doxygen, there are
corresponding targets) is also still missing on that page.

However, if you feel adventurous, give it a try, you can always ask me
questions, too...
