[Gmsh] curved mesh?

Yes: in the mesh menu, just press "Second Order" once your mesh is done. 
(you can also specify "-degree 2" on the command line). Gmsh will create 
triangles with 6 nodes instead of 3, quadrangles with 9 nodes instead of 
4, etc.
