[Gmsh] Extrude a 2D mesh

Hi,

I'm trying to create a cubic 3d mesh for OpenFOAM which would be in  
fact a 2D-extruded mesh.
I'm not too sure how to do it in Gmsh :

1) Create the 2D geometry (a rectangle)
2) Define the plane surface
3) Mesh th2 2D plane
4) ... how to extrude this 2d geo/mesh now ???
