Hi David and gmsh users,
I've managed to build gmsh with opencascade and have attached my "modified" version of the readme.occ supplied with gmsh docs.
I've supplied details of my machine and software I used.
I am happy to say that I have been able to import step and iges files with it.
Please have a look and let me know if I've done something wrong, particularly adding -pthread to the CXXFLAGS.
Cheers,
Simon.

Hi Simon,
seems like with the dynamic occ libs on linux you might need link with the pthread library. Can you try adding -lpthread to the GMSH_LIBS variable in the "gmsh/variables" file ?
Cheers,
Dave
