[Gmsh] Boundary Layer Surface Orientation

I want to use the experimental boundary layer command (as described
here: http://www.geuz.org/pipermail/gmsh/2007/002599.html)
I try meshing a 3D-wing which has been extruded from one surface. This
original surface has always the opposite orientation as all other
surfaces, at least if I look at the boundary layer (the top BL of the
picture attached).
How can I change surface orientation? The negative of the surface ID (as
it is done for surface loops) could not be identified by the BL command.

Cheers,
Axel
