[Gmsh] Preventing gmsh from adding additional edges to pre-triangulated volume surfaces during volume tetrahedrization

Hi,

I intend using gmsh to mesh polygranular geometries. A sample .geo file is attached to this e-mail. To reduce its size, the majority of grains were deleted. If this sample geometry is meshed with tetrahedrons, some additional edges are inserted in the pre-triangulated grain surfaces. Is there a way preventing this? The 'Transfinite Line "*" = 2' option seems to have no effect on the 3D mesh generation. If it is not possible avoiding these additional edges, is a consistent mesh guaranteed between different grains, if these grains share a common pre-triangulated surface?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards
