[Gmsh] STL file

hi,
i'm trying to open an .stl file exported by solidworks to gmsh on ubuntu.
when i load the geometry, an error occured:

Error : No facets found in STL file for solid 0
Error : Error loading '/home/michele/Scrivania/Biella-XF.stl'

i run also dos2unix, but it still not open my geometry.

how can i do?
