[Gmsh] Controlling the Resolution of the Mesh Generated from an STL File

I used Gmsh to mesh an STL geometry which resulted in a mesh with
approximately 67.5 million tetrahedral elements (this is too fine for me at
the moment). Is there a way to control how fine the mesh generated will be;
maybe like moderate to fine to very fine.
