[Gmsh] isosurface from curves?

Hello, I have a bunch of curves as an .iges file that I want to "thicken."
 Can Gmsh do this with, perhaps, the isosurface plugin?  I can also turn
the curves into points and try to isosurface from points.  I can only
generate points along the curves so I don't know if this would help at all.

I tried isosurfacing in gmsh for a while, but it has been difficult for me.
 If it is possible, I will keep trying.
