Hi gmsh-team, :)

The task i have to accomplish is to fill up a surface of any size and form defined with the help of 4 Points, with lamellars that must fit some given parameters.

The Input variables are:
the surface is always accurately defined with the help of this 4 points:

Point 1: 1X,1Y
Point 2: 2X,2Y
Point 3: 3X,3Y
Point 4: 4X,4Y

The parameters for the Lamellars are the following:

Starting Point: can only be one of the four points given above
Lamellar grid height: a new Lamellar begins every e.g. 0.03 meters
the angle of the lamellar in degree: e.g. 20°
The height of the lamellar itself: e.g. 0.015 meters.

As the attached geo-File shows, this is what it has to look like.

MY QUESTION

Is it possible to calculate these lamellar with Gmsh itself instead of
precalculating every point, then writing the Points to file and connecting the lines?
Is this possible with built in functions of Gmsh.

I am thankful for any help or hint.

With best Regards,
Peter
