[Gmsh] Problem: Save .geo as .pdf image vector file.

This is strange. Attached is the pdf that I get when I export as PDF using the default options (i.e. with “Simple sort”) on my Mac:

Everything looks OK in the rendering. Which version/OS of Gmsh are you using?

This is actually normal: we don’t do any pre-processing of the strings before exporting to PDF. You will need to escape the “\” with another “\” in order for the string to be rendered correctly, i.e. use “\\” in your annotations for vector PDF export.
