[Gmsh] Transfinite mesh for right angled triangle

Suppose I have a right angle triangular plane (ie: a square cut in half
along the diagonal). I want to create a structured grid for this composed of
right angled triangular elements. The result should look like if I meshed a
square plane using the transfinite algorithm, then cut it in half along the
diagonal. How would one do this in Gmsh?

 

This seems like a really trivial problem, but I haven't found a solution.
