[Gmsh] Reading mesh from general msh file

Dear All,

I want to write a code which will be able to read .msh file containing any
kind (2D or 3D, unstructured with mixed elements) of mesh. So I followed
tutorial page Section 9.1 MSH ASCII file format. However, it seems that
section is not enough. Recently I saw .msh file with $ParametricNodes which
are different than $Nodes.

Can anyone share general or required guidelines for reading .msh file in
general?
