Hi,
I am very interested in this myself. I posted a similar question in November. Any ideas?
Best regards
Martin

Betreff: [Gmsh] Meshing a cube with HEX-dominated elements or prisms and 2 different numbers of elements on 2 opposite sides
Hi,
Is it possible to mesh a cube (hexs or prims with 2 different numbers of elements on 2 opposite sides, like displayed on this picture (ABAQUS mesh swept algorithm)?
This is to create a transition zone between two hex-meshed zones of different densities. Lateral faces have to be quads to respect the connected hex meshes.
Preferably I would like to avoid Extrude in order to be able to mesh an imported BREP geometry with possibly non planar faces.
Many thanks,
Dominique Deloison
