[Gmsh] Compile lib using cygwin

Dear All,

I am trying to use cygwin to compile a gmsh lib file for my applications. I
can follow the readme.txt in the source code folder to compile the minimal
static library (with only the geometry and
  post-processing modules and the parser). Now I want to know what other
options I should enable so that the lib works for the examples in the
folder utils\api_demos?
