[Gmsh] Embed Line on Compound Surface And Boolean Operator

Dear Gmsh team,

I have to design a cylinder with a patch on its side and a stripe tied to the cylinder by a common edge with the patch, see the attached .geo file. To do that, I tried to use Embed lines, Compound Surface and Boolean Difference but its seems that those tools do not work together very well. These 5 errors occurred:

Error   : Could not open file 'debugp.pos'
Error   : Could not open file 'debugr.pos'
Error   : Unable to recover the edge 125 (1/5) on GEdge 11 (on GFace 11)
Error   : Could not open file 'wrongmesh.pos'
Error   : Could not open file 'wrongparam.pos'

Is there a way to deal with this?
