[Gmsh] How to interpret the periodic section in a .msh script?

Hello,

I am trying to create periodic meshes with gmsh. After reading and trying
some examples I have obtained the mesh that I have attached.

The result seems to be correct but I do not know how to interpret the
periodic section. Could someone give me some tips?
