[Gmsh] Import .geo file to .stl mantaining names of surfaces

Hi,


I want to convert a .geo file generated by gmsh to .stl format. In the .geo file I have defined 7 physical surfaces (which will be boundaries for my OpenFOAM case). I have tried the command:

gmsh file.geo -2 -o file.stl


But the .stl file does not have the names of the surfaces I have defined (it just lists all the faces as "facet"). How can I fix this?
