[Gmsh] Error Using GMSH on MS2000 w/ 71022 Nodes & 10101 Elements, While Attempting 70,000 Elements

Received Segmentation error while attempting to load .msh file with 71022 Nodes & approx. 70,000 Elements. The error occured at 10,101 elements. Is this an inherent limitation? (MS2000/CYGWIN/XFREE) Any suggestions are appreciated!
