[Gmsh] questions about GMSH

hello

I started using GMSH and I have a few more questions:

1. Does GMSH has some sort of forum, where I can ask other gmsh users
questions?

2. How is the GMSH geometry files built? As I undestand it is a variation of
BREP when you have splines & B-splines surves and surfaces.

3. What changes should I do to GMSHs source code, so that when I mesh a
surface, the elements will also show to which surface or line it belongs to
( I want to use surface meshing together with an exact parametrization like
spline surfaces).
