You don't provide enough details-what geometry? what input file? meshing settings?.

Yes, after refine, when I use optimize(gmsh) it always showing error. However, when I use optimize(netgen)

it can be success sometimes.

Hi,

Are you optimizing your mesh by using Mesh.Optimize=1?.

Cheers,
Mike.

 Dear Sir

I have used gmsh to generate the mesh of pump, but there are two questions.
       1. The volute have a lot of small surfaces that I  have to sew, does gmsh can
do this? How I can do this? By th way I used the *.stp model.
       2. After I use the refine, then I use the optimize that the code shown error and closed. Does it the bug?

         Thank you!
