[Gmsh] 2D mesh generation question with Gmsh

Hi there,

As far as I understood from here: 
http://geuz.org/pipermail/gmsh/2014/009412.html
there have been some changes in the code related to the reproducibility 
of the mesh.
But those changes are not included in the latest release 2.8.5 and only 
available in the recent development versions.
