[Gmsh] Converting STL surface into volume

Dear all, I'm trying to build a tetrahedral mesh using a STL surface. The
idea is build a box where the top is a STL file defining topography
(elevation)  of my computational domain.

I'm novice in gmsh, thefore I will appreciate your support or hints about
the steps to create the volume and, in consequence, the mesh file.
