Problem with gmsh-bin-linux.gz

The file does not appear to be a gzip or zip file!

bash$ gunzip -l gmsh-bin-linux.gz 

gunzip: gmsh-bin-linux.gz: not in gzip format

bash$ unzip -l gmsh-bin-linux.gz 
Archive:  gmsh-bin-linux.gz
  End-of-central-directory signature not found.  Either this
file is not
  a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part
archive.  In the
  latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will
be found on
  the last disk(s) of this archive.
unzip:  can't find zipfile directory in one of
gmsh-bin-linux.gz or
        gmsh-bin-linux.gz.zip, and can't find
gmsh-bin-linux.gz.ZIP, period.

Do you plan to make the source available and allow
contributions?
