[Gmsh] 3D magnetic analysis

Hi,

We've been looking at various software to use for design and evaluation of a
type of switched reluctance motor (transver flux type). I am doing my
masters degree at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.

We need to be able to do 3D finite element analysis and extract information
such as flux linkage and forces operating on the different components. I
would like to know if this is possible using gmsh and getdp. Commercial
software is presenting a problem due to cost.
