[Gmsh] Refinement to transfinite edge

Hello,

I create a hybrid mesh consisting of a structured part and an
unstructured part. I extend the gmsh sources.

My problem is that I get a refinement to the transfinite edges. I set
the maximum mesh size to all vertices, but it seems that gmsh ignores
the setting for a transfinite edge ( see picture ).

Does the transfinite algorithm for an edge changes the prescribed mesh
size on the GVertices that bound the edge?

Best regards
Alex
