[Gmsh] Errors using AttractorAnisoCurve

Hi,

I want to use the AttractorAnisoCurve field to refine a mesh selectively near the upper edge of a cylinder, see attached example. When I run 1D meshing, I get many errors saying

Error: U(1,1)=0 in matrix in place inversion

In 2D meshing, the same messages come up again. In 3D, gmsh closes.

Why is this, what do I do wrong, and how to fix it?

gmsh version is 2.8.0 64bit on Windows 7.

Thank you,

Matthias
